Job summary

Electronic Arts in Galway is seeking a Community Coordinator to join its Fan Care organization. You will blend player support, community engagement, and moderation to help players connect, learn, and enjoy our games.

Reporting to the Community Team Manager, you will foster healthy spaces across EA Forums, Discord, Steam, and Reddit, identify trends, and shape scalable engagement solutions for thousands of players. This hybrid role involves 3 days onsite in Galway.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in online gaming communities or related fields.
• Fluency: German native; English professional proficiency.
• Experience with EA Forums, Discord, Steam, Reddit, or similar platforms.
• Experience creating public-facing communications.
• Familiarity with moderation practices and online community health.
• Ability to produce clear, accessible content.
• Understanding of public engagement and escalation when needed.
• Experience managing multiple conversations simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Foster healthy, engaging spaces across EA Forums and other platforms.
• Provide player support by resolving gameplay, technical, and account issues.
• Clarify misinformation with accurate information and trusted resources.
• Balance support, education, and engagement, not just reactive resolution.
• Enforce guidelines fairly while promoting respectful discussions.
• Identify recurring questions and trends; share insights with leads.
• Help shape future engagement strategies through observing player behavior.
• Build relationships with Super Users and trusted community members.
• Be an escalation point for community context.
