Job summary

Accenture Ireland is seeking an API Sales Representative to drive adoption of cloud, AI, and consumption-based solutions. You will own multi-stage sales cycles, engage with developers, product teams, and technical decision-makers, and guide customers from initial conversations to ongoing usage.

The role emphasizes technical storytelling, collaboration with Solutions Engineering, and a customer‑first mindset to deliver long-term value in a fast-paced tech environment in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Experience in inside sales, outbound sales, SDR/BDR, or technical account management.
• Experience selling consumption-based or usage-driven products (APIs, cloud, AI services).
• Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, and technical architecture (no coding required).
• Goal-oriented and energized by fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels targeting technical and product-led teams.
• Own multi-stage sales cycles focused on API adoption, usage ramp, and ongoing consumption growth.
• Forecast and manage a usage-based pipeline with expansion and customer growth signals.
• Lead consultative conversations to understand integration needs, architecture, and business goals.
• Position API solutions across cloud compute, AI/data workloads, and developer ecosystems.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering on demos, PoCs, and technical deep dives.
• Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and notes in Salesforce or similar CRM.
