Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland in Dublin seeks a Solution Engineer SMA to partner with sales and customer teams, delivering technical guidance throughout the buying and onboarding journey.

You will run technical discovery sessions, design integration approaches, address security and compliance questions, and translate business requirements into actionable solution architecture that accelerates customer adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, Technical Account Manager, or similar pre-sales technical role.
• Strong understanding of API concepts, including RESTful design, authentication patterns, integration workflow design, and common error-handling practices.
• Ability to run technical discovery and translate customer requirements into integration architecture.
• Competence in discussing security practices (encryption, data residency, identity/access management, network controls).
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; excellent communication and explanation skills.
• Hands-on familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, or AI/ML-driven solutions.
• Ability to create architectural diagrams, solution documentation, or configuration guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers and clarify integration needs.
• Translate goals into architecture patterns and configuration options.
• Deliver demos, walkthroughs, and light proofs of concept addressing customer use cases.
• Provide guidance on API integration (authentication, rate limits, endpoints, data flow).
• Lead conversations on security posture and compliance with internal teams.
