Qualifications

• Experience in General Operative or Facilities roles.
• Trade background in carpentry/plumbing/plastering or related.
• Excellent DIY and practical skills.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general facilities maintenance and upkeep across the site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general operational and facilities-related duties, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general facilities maintenance and upkeep duties across the site.
• Assist with cleaning, maintaining and organising internal and external areas.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and general upkeep.
• Assist with waste management, including the removal and segregation of waste materials.
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damage or health and safety concerns.
• Assist with moving equipment, materials as required
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and responsibly.

Key requirements

• Previous experience in a General Operative, Facilities, Maintenance or Building Services role.
• Trade background or experience in one or more of the following:
  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Plastering
  • General building maintenance
  • Mechanical maintenance
• Good practical and DIY skills.
• Ability to carry out minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Experience using hand tools and basic power tools.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.

  Salary: €36,000 per annum
