Job summary

Apleona in Kilkenny, Ireland is seeking a full-time General operative to join our pharma environment team.

The role involves carrying out supportive tasks across the site, operating waste compactors, helping with repairs to building fabric, moving equipment, daily site checks, and assisting subcontractors with access, permits and safety procedures. • Must appreciate the importance of taking ownership of certain functions as allocated to the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out supportive tasks throughout the site as directed by supervisor.
• Filling and use of the general waste compactor.
• Filling and use of the Dry Mixed Recyclable Compactor; baling of cardboard, plastic and paper waste streams.
• Carry out reactive tasks to enable repairs to building fabric.
• Assist with moving plant and equipment as deemed necessary by the client.
• Carry out daily checks on site as per client requirements.
• Fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating, door furniture, office furniture, etc.
• Assist subcontractors to sign in, obtain permits and access areas.
• Report out-of-place findings to the contract manager.
• Monitor subcontractors and their services.
• Ensure facilities activities/requests are tracked and resolved in a timely manner per SLA; provide feedback.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
• Salting of the car park over the winter months.

We are looking for a Full-time General operative to join our team in a pharma environment in Kilkenny

Main duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for carry out supportive tasks throughout the site both internal and external to ensure high standards is performed on site as directed by supervisor.
• Filling and use of the general waste compactor
• Filling and use of the Dry Mixed Recyclable Compactor Baling of cardboard, plastic, and paper waste streams.
• Carryout reactive tasks that will enable repairs to building fabric.
• Assist with the moving of plant and equipment as deemed necessary by the client.
• Carryout the daily checks on site as per client requirements.
• Fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating, door furniture, office furniture etc.
• Assist subcontractors to allow them to carry out their tasks, for example signing in, work permits and showing to area.
• Reporting of any out of place findings to the contract manager
• Monitoring of all subcontractors and their associated service.
• Ensuring all facilities activities and requests are tracked and resolved in timely manner in line with the SLA. Ensuring that feedback is provided on each issue.
