Job summary

Hawksmoor Dublin seeks a Senior General Manager to lead a busy, high-volume restaurant. You will set the tone on the floor, drive top-tier guest experience, manage teams, and own profitability with the support of Hawksmoor House. This role demands hands-on leadership and a passion for hospitality.

You will champion Hawksmoor’s values, ensure audit-ready standards, and collaborate with Reservations and Marketing to keep the room full. A proven track record in premium hospitality is essential.

• Proven experience as General Manager in premium, high-volume hospitality.
• Strong leadership with ability to grow teams and manage P&L.
• Excellent guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor, set tone, and uphold Hawksmoor’s standards.
• Oversee all departments with smart rotas, inventory, and food safety.
• Drive sales, control costs and deliver EBITDA with Reservations and Marketing support.

As General Manager at Hawksmoor Dublin, you’ll be the leader of your restaurant and the person who sets the tone in the building: the quality and standards, the way the team looks after each other, and how the numbers look at the end of the month. People, guests, operations and the P&L are all yours, with a brilliant support team at Hawksmoor House behind you. This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who loves leading from the floor, growing people and running a busy, high‑volume restaurant to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

• Build, develop and hang on to a brilliant team, from hiring and training to coaching the next generation of Hawksmoor leaders
• Be a visible presence on the floor, showing the warmth, pace and care that make guests want to come back again and again
• Keep every department running beautifully, with smart rotas, great stock control and food safety standards that mean you’re always audit ready
• Own the P&L: grow sales, manage costs and deliver EBITDA, working with our Reservations and Marketing teams to keep the room full
• Give guests every reason to treat themselves, without ever resorting to the hard sell
• Champion sustainability, community and our B Corp commitments in your restaurant
