Ionad Cois Locha CLG is seeking an energetic General Manager to lead the operation and development of Dunlewey Lakeside Centre. The role covers day-to-day management, strategic direction and future development.

The successful candidate will manage staff, finances, funding, marketing and community relations, with strong emphasis on leadership and Irish language proficiency.

• Fluent in Irish (spoken and written) is essential.

Ionad Cois Locha CLG is seeking an energetic, capable and ambitious General Manager to lead the operation and development of Dunlewey Lakeside Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the Centre and will have a unique opportunity to help shape its strategic direction and future development.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Leading and managing staff;
• Financial management, budgeting and reporting to the Board;
• Business development and identifying new sources of funding and income;
• Marketing, promotion and event development;
• Building strong relationships with the local community, organisations and key stakeholders.
• Promoting the Centre and identifying opportunities for future development.

We are seeking a candidate with previous management experience and strong leadership, organisational, financial and communication skills. Experience in the tourism or visitor-attraction sector, together with experience of funding/grant applications, would be an advantage.

A high standard of spoken and written Irish is essential for this position.

This is a Full-time, fixed-term contract. This position is supported through the Pobal Community Services Programme (CSP), and continuation of the post is subject to ongoing programme funding.
