Qualifications

• A proven background in sales within the construction industry, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
• Solid understanding of building materials and timber products is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with a variety of clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under time pressure.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
• Competent in using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Represent and promote the company's product range to both existing and potential customers across the Dublin area.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, with an emphasis on developing long-term partnerships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Source and follow up on new business leads, including cold calling and referrals, to expand the customer base.
• Consistently meet or exceed agreed sales targets and performance metrics in line with company objectives.
• Prepare regular sales reports, maintain accurate records of client interactions, and provide insights on market trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer service and resolution of client queries.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, market trends, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
