Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners is partnering with a global asset manager to appoint a Designated Person for Fund Risk (PCF-39C) in Dublin. You will oversee the Fund Risk Management Function and ensure CP86, UCITS and AIFMD compliance across funds.

The role requires strong fund risk and investment management experience, knowledge of UCITS/AIFMD/CP86, and familiarity with risk tools such as Aladdin, FactSet or Bloomberg; Python/R is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Extensive fund risk and investment management experience.
• Deep knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD and CP86 requirements.
• Proficiency in VaR, stress testing and risk metrics.
• Experience engaging with and challenging investment managers.
• Familiarity with risk reporting tools (Aladdin, FactSet, Bloomberg).
• Experience with Python or R and alternative investments is advantageous.
• PCF suitability under Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Fund Risk Management Function.
• Ensure CP86, UCITS and AIFMD compliance across funds.
• Provide oversight of liquidity, credit and counterparty risks.
• Engage with investment managers to challenge risk assumptions.
