Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Specialist based in Ireland to act as the Designated Person for PCF39B in Operational Risk Management for its UCITS funds operation.

You will oversee risk processes, report to boards and regulators, own the Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement, and collaborate with global risk teams to support EMEA and APAC asset management. Deep regulatory knowledge is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Track record in risk management at a senior level, with asset management/regulatory experience.
• Experience with CBI/ESMA/UCITS regulations or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication tailored to audience needs.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day oversight of operational risk processes and business resilience.
• Perform DP for Operational Risk Management role and report to Boards/regulators.
• Own Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement documents.
• Monitor and assess risk appetite and deliver ICAAP risk assessments.
• Collaborate with global risk teams and other designated persons.
