Apex Group, a leading global financial services provider, seeks a Fund Risk professional in Ireland to contribute to risk management across UCITS and EU AIF funds. The role involves engagement with senior management and external stakeholders, and supporting governance through robust risk analytics.

You will monitor fund risks, develop risk reports, and assist with new product initiatives, reporting to the Head of Risk within a dynamic Fund Risk team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in the UCITS and/or EU Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) frameworks.
• Finance or quantitative degree; certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or CAIA in progress.
• Understanding of the AIFM and UCITS regulatory frameworks, particularly in relation to risk management requirements.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and convey insights to stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Monitor ongoing investment risks of funds to ensure alignment with objectives, policy and regulatory restrictions.
• Generate, review and enhance risk analytics using in-house and third-party tools.
• Assist in implementing the Fund Risk Management framework for new product initiatives and fund launches.
• Assist the Fund Risk team in preparing board reports.
• Draft risk-related documentation for onboarding new clients (e.g., Risk Management Process, Risk Appetite Statements, Risk Profiles).
• Liaise with investment managers, administrators, depositaries, law firms, and other external stakeholders.
