Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners, on behalf of a global asset manager, seeks an experienced investment professional to lead risk oversight for its Irish office.

You will combine fund risk responsibility with manager research across public and private markets, with exposure to boards and responsibility for a small team.

Qualifications

• Significant investment risk, manager research or investment oversight experience.
• Strong knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD and CP86, with the ability to meet Central Bank Fitness and Probity requirements for PCF-39C.
• Expertise in risk analytics, stress testing and performance assessment.
• Public and private markets experience; private credit and real estate exposure highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Research and assess investment managers across public and private markets, evaluating investment processes, portfolio construction, performance and risk.
• Lead fund risk oversight across UCITS, AIFs and individual portfolio mandates, ensuring alignment with CP86, regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
• Monitor market, credit, liquidity and counterparty risks, challenging managers and escalating material issues.
• Lead manager due diligence and deliver clear, actionable reporting to senior management and fund boards.
• Partner with Investment Management and Operational Risk DPs, while developing the fund risk team.
