Zusammenfassung

U.S. Bank in Ireland is seeking an Alternative Investments Accountant to support accounting, administration and investor servicing for hedge funds and private equity products. You will review NAVs, oversee deliverables, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple fund relationships.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, 2–5 years of fund accounting experience, and strong communication skills. Hybrid schedule with in-office 3+ days per week; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of portfolio/partnership accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting and analysis.
• Ability to identify and escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.

Aufgaben

• Calculate net asset values, review colleagues' work, and share performance information with investors.
• Provide day-to-day supervisory oversight, training support, and ensure deadlines are met with internal controls.
• Serve as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships following GAAP.
• Record trade data, income/expense activity and apply valuations in the accounting system.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership system.
• Allocate fund profits to investors for statements and distributions.
• Review fund expense analysis and processing.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
