Job summary

Redwood Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Fund Accountant Supervisor for a leading global Private Markets Fund Administrator. You will oversee financial reporting, NAV calculations, and profit allocations to ensure client deadlines are met.

Ideal candidates have a 2.2 degree in Accounting/Finance, at least 3 years in a similar environment, and strong knowledge of fund structures, fee calculations, waterfalls and related documentation. This role requires collaboration with staff and clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of funds, fund structures, fee calculations/waterfalls, equalization, trading strategies, financial instruments and fund offering documentation.
• Prior experience in fund administration or similar environment.
• Ability to oversee staff and maintain client deliverables on time.

Job description

A leading global Private Markets Fund Admin is looking to hire an ambitious Fund Accountant Supervisor for their growing team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prepare financial reports and profit allocation statements, including the calculation of \"net asset value\", meeting client deadlines.


• Alternative Financial Instrument and Capital Transactions


• Monitor compliance of various agreements with the clients.


• Meetings/calls with clients/counter parts in other groups.


• Review accounting work and other common client deliverables prepared by staff.


• Review the calculation of fund specific expenses (e.g. management fees, incentive fees and other applicable fees)

Requirements

• Third level qualification (minimum 2.2 degree), qualified or part qualified accountant or other relevant qualification;


• Knowledge of funds, fund structures, fee calculations/waterfalls, equalization, trading strategies, financial instruments and fund offering documentation.


• At least 3 years experience within a similar environment
