Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Ireland is seeking an Accounting Control Group - Associate to bring fund accounting expertise to critical audit and financial reporting cycles.

You will deliver audit support, investigate inquiries, and ensure the accounting records are audit-ready for internal partners, clients, and external auditors. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, review accounting records, and resolve exception items while applying end-to-end fund accounting knowledge to trades,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Fund accounting, fund services, audit support, or financial reporting cycle experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standard audit support packages and monitor/respond to fund accounting inquiries during reporting and audit cycles
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to audit and reporting cycles
• Participate in video calls and in-person meetings with external auditors and clients
• Monitor subsequent accounting activity and prepare general ledger adjusting entries
• Analyze accounting records and clearly articulate fund accounting transactions and processes
• Build and apply knowledge of internal systems, operations, client structures, portfolios, deliverables, and client-specific requirements
• Apply end-to-end fund accounting knowledge (for example trades, corporate actions, reconciliations, pricing, and accruals) to respond to inquiries
• Independently research and respond to auditor and internal inquiries in a timely manner
