Job summary

F.X. Buckley Group is seeking full-time Kitchen Porters to support busy kitchen operations in Ireland. You will operate dishwashers, assist with pot washing, deep cleaning, waste management, and basic prep tasks for chefs.

You’ll also help with deliveries, stock organization, and FIFO inventory in walk-in fridges and storage areas. Candidates must be available for full-time hours and legally permitted to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Tasks include operating the commercial dishwasher and hand-washing delicate items.
• Cleaning heavy-duty kitchen equipment and cookware.
• Deep-cleaning kitchen surfaces, walls, hoods and floors.
• Managing waste, recycling, and safe disposal per health rules.
• Assisting with basic food prep like peeling and chopping.
• Unloading deliveries and organising stock using FIFO.

Responsibilities

• Operate the commercial dishwasher and hand-wash delicate items.
• Pot washing of heavy-duty kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Deep-clean kitchen surfaces, walls, hoods, and floors at end of shift.
• Waste management including sorting recycling and disposal.
• Assist chefs with basic prep tasks (peeling, washing, chopping).
• Handle deliveries and organise stock using FIFO in storage areas.
