Job summary

CPL in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our inaugural Dublin engineering team. You will own full-stack development across frontend and backend using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript, and collaborate with Product peers to deliver dealer-facing features for our Canadian and UK markets.

You’ll design scalable APIs, services, and cloud-based solutions on AWS, mentor peers, and help establish the office culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack features and APIs using Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver software for international markets (Canada/UK).
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Own services from ideation through deployment and ongoing production support.
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish Dublin office engineering standards.
