Job summary

Dublin Simon Community is hiring a Day Support Worker in Dublin city centre. You will help meet client needs daily, provide in-the-moment support, and contribute to consistency of best-practice standards within emergency accommodation services.

You will receive induction plus 10 training days per year, on-the-job coaching, and mentoring to succeed in the role. Opportunities exist to progress to project worker roles over time.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety inspections and audits experience preferred.
• Ability to work in agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to best-practice standards in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support project/key workers and management in achieving service goals.
• Build trusting relationships with service users and residents with dignity and respect.
• Provide emotional and motivational support to promote positive mental health.
