Job summary

Dataminr is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy and operationalize First Alert inside customer environments across Europe. You will design data pipelines and ontology models in Palantir Foundry, fuse real-time intelligence with customer data, and own the solution end-to-end from design to field deployment.

Responsibilities include building widgets, integrating Dataminr’s real-time data into workflows, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while traveling

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering or forward‑deployed/solutions engineering delivering production systems.
• NATO Secret clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel 25–75% and to work on-site in secure customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with defense and security customers to scope high‑priority situational awareness solutions.
• Design, build and deploy Palantir Foundry solutions for First Alert data pipelines and operator apps.
• Integrate real‑time intelligence into customer workflows and command‑and‑control tooling.
• Build custom widgets to enable real-time intelligence operations.
• Own end‑to‑end solutions with minimal supervision and sound technical decisions.
