• Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Confident communication across operations, management and customer teams.
• Flexible and committed to night-shift pattern in Dublin.
• IOSH Managing Safely is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night-shift operation, setting clear priorities and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Manage day-to-day team performance, including attendance, productivity, coaching and reviews.
• Monitor customer and internal KPIs, identify underperformance and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure procedures are followed and incidents escalated.
• Plan labour and resources to meet demand and service commitments.
• Deliver shift briefings and performance dialogues, encouraging ideas for improvements.
• Provide training support and inductions, maintain training records.
• Respond to operational issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Maintain site security and support measures for colleagues and assets.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives, update procedures when changes are approved.

We are looking for an experienced First Line Manager to lead our night-shift warehouse operation in Dublin. You will oversee a safe, efficient and customer-focused shift, providing clear direction to the team and ensuring operational, people and service targets are achieved.
Key responsibilities

• Lead the night-shift operation, setting clear priorities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Manage day-to-day team performance, including attendance, productivity, coaching, development and performance reviews.
• Monitor customer and internal KPIs, identify underperformance and implement timely corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring standards and procedures are followed and incidents are reported, investigated and escalated appropriately.
• Plan labour and resources effectively to meet operational demand and service commitments.
• Deliver shift briefings and performance dialogues, encouraging colleagues to contribute ideas and improvements.
• Identify training and capability gaps, maintain training records and support inductions and technical training.
• Respond to operational and customer issues, escalating where required and recommending practical solutions.
• Maintain site security and support measures that protect colleagues, assets, premises and customer products.
• Support audits, continuous improvement initiatives and environmental objectives, updating procedures and training materials when changes are approved.
  

What we are looking for

• Previous experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong people-management skills, with the ability to lead, coach and motivate colleagues on a night shift.
• A clear focus on safety, operational performance, service and continuous improvement.
• Good working knowledge of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills across operations, management and customer teams.
• Good organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility and commitment to working the required night-shift pattern in Dublin.
• IOSH Managing Safely, or a willingness to complete the qualification, is desirable.
• Experience of bonded warehouse systems is advantageous but not essential.
