Lever, Inc. on behalf of a partner company is seeking an Expert Adyen Freelance based in Ireland to audit, stabilize and optimize Adyen integrations for recurring payments across multiple SaaS products.

You will focus on 3DS2, SCA, renewal-rate improvements, and robust risk management while collaborating with payment, technology, and product teams. The role is remote across Europe with autonomy and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payment-related roles with senior-level expertise.
• Hands-on Adyen integration in production for recurring payments.
• Advanced knowledge of Adyen APIs, Customer Area, and risk tools.
• Understanding of 3DS2/SCA, authorization-rate optimization, retries, and chargebacks.
• Experience with a billing orchestrator is valued.
• Experience with Adyen in B2C SaaS subscriptions or marketplaces is advantageous.
• Strong autonomy and ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication to explain payment topics to product/tech teams.
• Fluent in French; professional English proficiency will be assessed.

Responsibilities

• Audit Adyen integrations and payment flows across SaaS products.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices for recurring payments, 3DS2, SCA, webhooks.
• Analyze authorization and renewal performance to improve success rates.
• Support risk, fraud prevention, chargebacks and dispute-management.
• Assess payment flows across products and tailor recommendations.
• Document findings and implemented solutions clearly for internal teams.
• Transfer knowledge to payment, technology, and product stakeholders.
