Job summary

Trading212 in Ireland is seeking a Head of Fraud to design and implement the Fraud Risk Management Framework for its Irish Payment Institution, leading day-to-day operations from escalations to board reporting.

You will build and develop the fraud team, embed controls with product, compliance and tech, and shape the function from its early stages. This role requires regulatory experience and strong leadership to foster a culture of risk excellence.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFE, CFCS and/or equivalent are an advantage.
• Degree in Finance, Business or Technology with 5+ years in senior operational risk/financial crime within Irish regulated financial services.
• Experience with retail clients/consumers required.
• Knowledge of European/Irish laws relating to PSP and E-Money Directives.
• Deep experience in creating and implementing FRM frameworks, policies, controls and product launches.
• High standards of conduct and ethics; attention to detail; independent working style; strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain FRM Framework, ensuring fraud mitigation across products and services.
• Manage day-to-day FRN operations, including customer escalations, card alerts, payment issues, investigations and reporting.
• Produce dashboards and detailed reports for the Board and governance committees.
• Lead the fraud team, managing managers and promoting a culture of operational risk excellence.
• Advise on new products, collaborating with compliance, risk, product and tech to embed controls and automation.
• Foster a company-wide culture of compliance and best practices.
