Job summary

Trading 212 is seeking a Deputy Head of Compliance to lead and operationalise the compliance framework for a CBI-regulated Payment Institution. You will deputise for the Head of Compliance, engage with the Central Bank of Ireland, and oversee Fitness & Probity, monitoring, and reporting to the Board and regulators.

Qualifications

• Degree-level knowledge in Law or Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of compliance experience within regulated Irish financial institutions.
• Line management experience or readiness to take on line management responsibility.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for Irish payment institutions.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Ability to use artificial intelligence to enhance work outcomes with proper control and data protection considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the compliance framework, policies and procedures and own defined components.
• Maintain the compliance monitoring programme with testing, remediation tracking and escalation.
• Maintain Fitness & Probity processes including records and annual certification.
• Keep compliance registers and evidence base to withstand regulatory scrutiny.
• Provide regulatory horizon scanning and compliance advice on payments, resilience, consumer protection, IAF, products and promotions.
• Support responses to regulatory inspections and information requests.
• Assist with regulatory reporting to the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Prepare compliance reporting for the Board and governance forums.
• Foster an organisation-wide culture of compliance and best practice.
