Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Fraud Prevention Analyst to detect and prevent fraudulent activity across client-facing systems within a fast-paced global fraud team. You will analyze data, review alerts, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to protect clients and the bank.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with analytics tools, and knowledge of authentication processes. This position is based in Ireland and offers exposure to leading financial technology and security

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with complex data.
• Knowledge of Actimize Xceed / Guardian Analytics preferred.
• Experience with malware variants and common attack vectors.

Responsibilities

• Detect and prevent fraud via analysis of client-facing applications.
• Review login anomalies and suspicious transactions; coordinate investigations.
• Analyze datasets from multiple sources to identify potential fraud.
• Validate alerts from fraud detection systems and escalate as needed.
• Communicate trends and risks to the fraud team and management.
