Our Dublin-based private equity backed organisation is seeking an FP&A Director to lead the Financial Planning & Analysis function and partner with the Group CFO to drive growth.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, rolling reforecasts, and develop advanced financial models to assess investments, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.

This leadership role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and investors as the business executes its ambitious growth agenda.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience in Group Finance, FP&A or Corporate Finance within a large corporate or PLC.
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast, budget, and long-range planning.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication with senior teams.
  • Experience in financial modelling for strategic investments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of long-term financial plans aligned to growth objectives, investment priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting and rolling reforecasting processes across the business.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models to assess the impact of future events, investments and market developments.
  • Provide detailed analysis of performance, growth opportunities and strategic initiatives to support executive decision-making.
  • Support strategic investment decisions through robust financial modelling, business case development and performance evaluation.
  • Deliver high-quality financial insights, board-level reporting and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial leadership teams to drive performance improvement and support key business decisions.
  • Build and enhance FP&A processes, reporting frameworks and planning capabilities as the organisation grows.

Our client is a large private equity backed organisation with a significant international footprint and ambitious growth plans. Following a period of sustained expansion and strategic investment, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth.

To support this continued growth, the organisation is seeking to appoint an FP&A Director to a newly created leadership role. This position will play a critical role in shaping strategic decision-making, supporting investment initiatives and providing the financial insight required to drive future growth.

Key requirements include:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Big 4 or Top 10 trained with a strong technical and analytical foundation
  • Significant experience within Group Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Corporate Finance functions in a large corporate, multinational or PLC environment
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights
  • Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, scenario modelling and strategic analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership teams and support business decision-making
Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this newly created role will sit within the senior finance leadership team and play a central role in supporting the organisation's future growth strategy.

  • Lead the development of long-term financial plans aligned to business growth objectives, investment priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting and rolling reforecasting processes across the business.
