Job summary

Elevate Partners in Ireland seeks an experienced FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis across a major capital investment programme. This senior, business-facing role partners with programme leaders and senior stakeholders while building and mentoring a small FP&A team.

The successful candidate will deliver budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and long-term financial planning, providing clear insights into spend, risks, and opportunities, and challenging financial assumptions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong FP&A, commercial finance or finance supporting large capital programmes.
• Experience leading FP&A or programme finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A across the capital investment programme, covering budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, target setting and long-term financial planning.
• Provide clear analysis of investment performance, identifying key movements in spend, delivery, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with programme owners and senior stakeholders to support planning, prioritisation and financial decision-making across the investment programme.
• Lead and develop the FP&A team, while improving financial models, reporting processes, controls and the overall quality of financial analysis.

Our client is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join its finance team and take responsibility for financial planning and analysis across a significant capital investment programme. This is a senior, business-facing finance role with responsibility for providing clear financial insight across a large and complex programme of work. The successful candidate will work closely with programme leaders, delivery teams and senior stakeholders, while also leading and developing a small FP&A team.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience across FP&A, commercial finance or finance supporting large capital programmes.
• Previous experience managing or leading others within an FP&A, business partnering or programme finance environment.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the confidence to present financial information and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with large-scale capital investment programmes, infrastructure, utilities or regulated environments would be particularly beneficial.
