Advance TRS is recruiting a Structures Foreman to support the Dublin Airport West Apron Vehicle Underpass project. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on reinforced concrete and formwork, coordinating crews and subcontractors in a live airport environment.
The successful candidate will oversee daily production, ensure works meet drawings and specs, manage safety, and align with the project schedule through effective planning and communication.
Advance TRS is recruiting a Structures Foreman on behalf of our client to support the delivery of the €265m West Apron Vehicle Underpass project at Dublin Airport.
This is an opportunity for an experienced concrete and structures professional to take a hands‑on leadership role on a major infrastructure scheme within a live airport environment.
Our client is an international engineering and construction group delivering major infrastructure projects worldwide.
You’ll join the team constructing a new underpass beneath an existing runway and taxiways, creating a dedicated connection for airside vehicles between the airport’s eastern campus and West Apron. With completion scheduled for 2030, the project offers substantial technical challenges and the opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure development.
Reporting to the Site Agent – Structures, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of structural construction activities, leading site crews and subcontractors across reinforced concrete, formwork, steel fixing and concrete pours.
You’ll take practical ownership of daily production, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with the programme, while coordinating around airport operational constraints.
You’ll have a trade background and significant experience as a Structures Foreman or Chargehand, with a strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction.
We’re particularly interested in people who have led practical delivery on substantial civils or construction projects and are comfortable managing crews, coordinating work fronts and maintaining production under demanding site conditions.
Essential requirements include:
Experience on bridges, tunnels, underpasses, major concrete frames or other substantial civil engineering structures would be particularly relevant.
Previous airport experience is desirable rather than essential. Experience working within other live operational or high‑security environments would also be valuable.
Dublin Airport - five days on site.
Candidates must be based within one hour of the airport.
Our client offers 34 days’ annual leave, a company pension, life assurance at four times annual salary, company-funded training and professional development, language lessons, annual health checks and employee wellbeing support.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
