Job summary

Vickerstock is recruiting a Technical Manager (Maternity Cover) for a well-established food manufacturing business in the Dublin area. You will own site food safety, quality systems and regulatory compliance to maintain the highest standards across the operation.

The role requires leadership of audits, CAPA, traceability and technical documentation, with close collaboration to Production and Operations to ensure product safety and legality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Technical/Quality teams in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and food safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead audits, investigations and CAPA.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the site's Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and customer standards.
• Lead customer, regulatory, certification and internal audits.
• Maintain HACCP, risk assessments, policies and documentation.
• Oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and non-conformances.
• Support supplier approval, traceability and documentation records.
• Drive continuous improvement across technical, safety and quality processes.
• Promote food safety culture through training and guidance.
