Job summary

O'Callaghan Collection in Dublin seeks a Bartender to support mixologists and maintain a high-standard bar environment. You will process drink orders, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional guest service with attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality, preferably in high-end establishments.

Responsibilities

• Support mixologists in their work and keep bar areas clean and efficient.
• Process and fulfill drinks orders in a timely fashion to high standards.
• Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders for ingredients and supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and recommending drinks.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of bar equipment and environment.

Role information:

• Bartending Support: Support mixologists in their work. Keep bar and staff areas clean and working efficiently throughout the duration of each shift.
• Orders and Floor Management: Ensuring all drinks orders are processed and fulfilled in a timely fashion, to the highest standards.
• Bar Inventory and Ordering: Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory checks, and placing orders for necessary ingredients, spirits, and supplies to ensure a well-stocked bar.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, recommending drinks based on preferences, and accommodating special requests while maintaining a friendly and professional approach.
• Adhering to Safety and Hygiene Standards: Follow health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcohol, maintaining cleanliness of bar equipment, and ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in hospitality, preferably in high-end establishments.
• Acknowledge the pivotal purpose of health and safety protocols in a hotel environment.
