Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to support guest service in our hotel team. You will be trained through the Dalata Academy to develop important hospitality skills and grow within the company.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will provide friendly and efficient service, while maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
