Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in Ireland. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and work with experienced colleagues to grow professionally.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will provide friendly and efficient service to hotel guests, promote upselling opportunities, and maintain high standards in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings & weekends).
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name.
• Have good knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
