Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant for Conference and Banqueting. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to learn key skills and grow within the company.

The team-oriented role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, delivering warm, efficient service to hotel guests. We promote from within and offer development opportunities across Dalata properties, with a supportive environment and focus on staff wellbeing and career

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Experience in high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience preferred and hotel exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Know the menu well and offer wine and food recommendations.
• Be courteous, professional and upsell to maximise revenue.
• Maintain clean and tidy bar/restaurant areas.
• Serve guests and assist with smooth conference and banqueting service.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job:

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experienceis essential.
