Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant in Ireland. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy and join a friendly team delivering welcoming service to hotel guests.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will greet guests, know the menu, upsell, and maintain clean service areas. Fluency in English and hotel experience are valued. This role supports career growth within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar and restaurant roles.
• Fluent English with strong communication.
• Able to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a hotel setting preferred.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Assistant will provide friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.

Your Job

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

What You’ll Need

• Previous Bar & Restaurant experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.
