Job summary

The Spencer Hotel in Dublin's city centre is seeking an experienced Breakfast Supervisor to lead the busy breakfast service in East Restaurant, part of the MHL Hotel Collection. You will manage a hospitality team, train colleagues to the hotel standard, and ensure smooth operation across breakfast and support for lunch service; eligibility to work in Ireland and strong communication are essential.

Job description

As part of the MHL Hotel Collection, The 4* Spencer Hotel is in a prime location overlooking the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin's financial district. Home to 209 guest bedrooms, 8 Meeting rooms, The Spencer Cocktail Bar & East Restaurant. We are now looking to recruit an experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our dynamic F&B Team in East Restaurant located in The Spencer Hotel. Overlooking the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin’s financial district. The hotel is located within 10 minutes’ walk from O’Connell Street, with easy access to Connolly & Dublin Docklands Dart & commuter train stations. The Luas and Dublin Bus services are also within a few minutes’ walk from the Hotel.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the effective day to day operational running of our Restaurant during the busy breakfast service.
• Assist with lunch service
• Build relationships with our internal and external guest to encourage return stays
• Train restaurant colleagues on a daily basis in relation to the hotel standard operating procedures.
• Support the Food & Beverage Management with their duties.

The Ideal candidate will:

• Have had previous Supervisory experience in a 4* Hotel or similar restaurant
• Have a proven ability to manage a team
• Be enthusiastic and vibrant in their outlook
• Have a willingness to learn and develop their career further
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
