Excel Recruitment is assisting a client to recruit a Field Sales Representative for FMCG products across Leinster, Ireland. The role focuses on building relationships with supermarkets, convenience stores and wholesalers, driving shelf presence and product visibility.

The ideal candidate has previous FMCG or retail sales experience, plus the energy and communication skills to influence store managers. A competitive package including salary, bonus, pension, health and company car is on offer.

Qualifications

• Living within or near the Leinster territory and previous FMCG/retail experience.
• Ability to build relationships with store staff and influence shelf decisions.

Responsibilities

• Follow a store call file and journey plan, maintaining good relationships with your stores.
• Achieve KPIs such as volume, promotional execution and product distribution.
• Introduce new products and implement promotions.
• Utilise seasonal trends to improve product placement and sales.
• Negotiate extra displays for upcoming promotions.
• Be the point of contact for all your stores.
• Ensure that trade incentives and activities are used effectively.
• Monitor and report on competitor activity.
• Identify new business opportunities by understanding category and shopper behaviour in-store.

My client, who represent global leaders in food and non-food are looking for aField Sales Representativeto maintain relationships and develop sales with supermarkets, convenience, and wholesalers across South Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford Carlow.

The ideal candidate will live within or close to the territory mentioned above and must come with similar experience within retail and fast-moving consumer goods.

As aSales Repyou will be an energetic people person, a good communicator with the ability to influence the store management team to increase space and visibility of your range of products.
