Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Experience translating laboratory innovations into scalable processes.
• Expertise in flow chemistry and continuous processing.
• Strong knowledge of process safety, scale-up, and heat/mass transfer.
• Proficiency with analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, GC, MS, IR, NMR) for reaction monitoring and characterization.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects including technology transfer and process documentation.
• Effective communicator and problem solver with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and scale-up of continuous-flow and intensified chemical processes.
• Design, optimize, and implement scalable synthetic routes, flow reactors, and downstream processing.
• Develop process design packages, operating windows, scale-up plans, risk assessments, and tech transfer docs.
• Collaborate across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and EHS to advance programs and ensure process safety.
• Provide leadership for equipment qualification, commissioning, technology transfer and process implementation.
• Foster organizational capability through problem solving, knowledge management, and mentoring.
