Job summary

AbbVie seeks an ADC Process Scientist to support an advanced manufacturing facility in Ireland. You will apply deep knowledge of ADC manufacturing, including conjugation and fill-finish operations, working as a subject‑matter expert on the manufacturing process.

You will collaborate with R&D and Drug Product Development to develop and transfer robust, fit‑for‑purpose process controls for each new product introduction (NPI) and manage technology transfer activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with at scale ADC manufacturing including conjugation and fill finish operations.
• Detailed understanding of the chemistry of large molecule and protein conjugation demonstrated by successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Leverage understanding of ADC manufacturing and AbbVie process as SME for technology transfers.
• Develop and transfer a robust, fit-for-purpose process control strategy for each new product introduction (NPI).
• Author gap assessments, facility fit studies, process safety and risk assessments for NPI.
• Design, onboarding, and testing of single use assemblies for sterile manufacturing of ADC.
• Act as Process SME for equipment selection and C&Q activities for new equipment.
