Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Leaving Certificate; 3rd level qualification in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of order fulfillment or similar relevant experience.
• Experience within a regulated laboratory or chemical environment is desirable.
• Experience with weighing and dispensing desirable.
• Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with peers and management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet software programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete activities associated with the Order Generation and Fulfillment (OGF) process: Receipt, Storage, Selection, Dispensing, Packaging and Shipment of UDC’s specialty chemicals.
• Comply with company policies to ensure integrity of the OGF process and meet customer expectations.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and work with colleagues to resolve.
• Escalate issues that may impact the customer or process.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization to eliminate error.
• Support Quality Management System processes as needed.
• Communicate with the global UDC team across regions to ensure on-time, in-full delivery with high quality.
• Maintain inventory records of all transactions in the electronic system.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required.

Job Summary:

This is a 12 months temporary position, in our Shannon, Ireland office.

The Packaging Lab Technician will be responsible for order fulfillment, ensuring that all customer orders are completed on time and error free.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete activities associated with the Order Generation and Fulfillment (OGF) process consisting of Receipt, Storage, Selection, Dispensing, Packaging and Shipment of UDCs specialty chemicals.
• Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure integrity of the OGF process to meet customer expectations.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and work with colleagues to resolve.
• Immediately escalate issues that have the potential to negatively impact the customer or the process.
• Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and organization to eliminate error.
• Fulfill any other customer or internal requests including supporting the Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
• Effectively communicate and work with the global UDC team across multiple regions to ensure customer satisfaction, delivering on time, in full with high quality.
• Accurately maintain inventory records including all incoming and outgoing transactions in and electronic inventory system.
• Perform any other reasonable job-related duties that may be required from time to time.
