Job summary

Kids Inc. is seeking a Floating Centre Manager to support our Afterschool services across Leinster. Based Leinster-wide, you will manage day-to-day operations at one centre while providing cover at others as needed.

Regular travel between centres is required, so a full driving licence and access to your own car are essential. You will lead teams, organise weekly programmes, and ensure a high standard of care for children.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' professional experience working with children.
• Experience in management or supervisory roles in childcare/education settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience training or mentoring team members.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the Afterschool service while providing cover.

• Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver a high-quality service.

• Organise weekly programmes and activities in line with guidelines.

• Delegate responsibilities and keep staff informed of plans.
•  
• Support children's social, emotional, physical, and creative development.

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
•  
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

• Complete administration and record-keeping as required.
•  
• Provide coverage across Leinster as needed.
