UPMC Ireland is seeking an Access to Care Advisor Medical Records at Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny. The role focuses on safe handling, preparation, filing and transport of patients’ medical records, ensuring a high‑quality patient experience across the hospital.

The successful candidate will support multiple hospital departments, maintain IPSG 1 standards, and manage audits, chart dispatch, and Subject Access Requests. Strong MS Office skills, English fluency, and EU work eligibility are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• Strong background in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• A flexible approach to work and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Eligible to live and work in the EU.

Aufgaben

• Monitor IPMs daily for all admission lists.
• Prepare charts for upcoming admissions with required documentation.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and IPSG 1 compliance.
• Dispatch charts to hospital sites and manage chart delivery.
• Coordinate with transport to safely handle charts.
• Manage Subject Access Requests per Data Protection guidelines.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Managers and departments for audits.
• Maintain stock and ensure timely filing of histology records and paperwork.
• Liaise with hospital teams to ensure high patient service levels.
• Support relief staff and participate in training as needed.
