Job summary

UPMC Ireland is seeking a Health and Performance Coordinator for Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny. The role provides administrative, operational and clinical support within the Physiotherapy Department and assists Chartered Physiotherapists with rehabilitation and exercise programmes.

The successful candidate will manage inquiries, coordinate outpatient appointments, sustain clinician diaries and support patient flow while upholding GDPR and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• FETAC level 5 Physio assistant health service skills module or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare/caring environment and designing individual and team programmes.
• Experience with cohorts with chronic illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for the Physiotherapy Department.
• Coordinate outpatient physiotherapy appointments and clinician diaries.
• Schedule, confirm, amend and reschedule appointments and issue patient communications.
• Support waiting list management and patient flow processes.
• Deliver inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy under supervision.
• Maintain patient administration and clinical records per GDPR and hospital policies.
• Assist in planning and maintenance of physiotherapy programs.
