Job summary

Ayvens is seeking a capable technician or service advisor to support the Operations Team in keeping our fleet mobile. You will authorise repairs, coordinate CVRT test logistics, and manage communications between clients, drivers, suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a motor mechanics qualification or relevant service-management experience, with strong numeracy, literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Teamwork, flexibility and cost-conscious problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Technician qualification essential (Motor Mechanics) or experience as Service Manager/Advisor at a dealership or vehicle manufacturer.
• Experience in a corporate office environment dealing with customers; strong numeracy and literacy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel; knowledge of Lotus Notes and garage systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of telephone enquiries in a team setting, daily authorisation of repairs and costs.
• Organise logistics around CVRT test requirements and liaise with clients and suppliers.
• Maintain database and correspondence; ensure vehicle downtime remains minimal.
• Communicate with vehicle manufacturers and their representatives per after sales policy.
• Resolve quality issues as directed by line manager; adhere to policy and guidelines.
• Be flexible to undertake duties as required by line manager and work additional hours if needed.
• Work to achieve team goals and individual targets as outlined by line manager.
