Job summary

Cashel Palace Hotel, a Relais & Châteaux member in Ireland, seeks a dedicated Public Areas Cleaner to join the Housekeeping team. You will maintain immaculate public spaces, ensuring five-star presentation and guest comfort across corridors, lounges, and washrooms.

Ideal candidates bring a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel/cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across all public areas of the hotel.
• Clean and present guest corridors, lobbies, lounges, stairways, meeting spaces and public washrooms.
• Ensure public areas are stocked with supplies and amenities.
• Follow routine cleaning schedules and perform deep-cleaning as required.
• Respond promptly to guest and operational requests.
• Report maintenance issues and health & safety concerns.
• Support Housekeeping colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
