Mitie Ireland is seeking a Fire Safety Engineer to inspect, install, test, and remediate passive fire protection systems across Dublin and other sites in Ireland. The role requires mandatory Fire and Smoke Damper qualification and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in carpentry, joinery, or fire safety engineering.
• Certification in Fire and Smoke Damper inspection, testing, maintenance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess fire dampers and passive fire protection in various buildings.
• Identify non-compliance and remediation needs; survey penetrations for compliance.
• Maintain and remediate fire stopping installations; ensure compliance with standards.
• Install dampers and passive fire protection per regulations; document all work.
• Maintain documentation, certification records, and digital evidence of completed works.
• Liaise with clients and contractors to explain findings and recommendations.
