Job summary

Specialist Fire Protection Engineering Contractor in Co Westmeath, Ireland, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for residential fire protection projects with regular site travel. You will manage engineering and delivery of residential sprinkler packages, coordinating drawings, materials, installation requirements and site activities from the early stages through testing and handover.

You will work with developers, main contractors, site teams, designers and internal crews to keep projects on

Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical engineering qualification or relevant mechanical background.
• Proven mechanical construction, building services or project engineering experience.
• Must have the ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering requirements across residential projects.
• Review sprinkler layouts and coordinated drawings.
• Coordinate materials, procurement and installation requirements.
• Liaise with main contractors, site teams and design teams.
• Monitor installation quality and programme.
• Resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover.
