Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan are recruiting a Construction Supervisor in Dublin for a 6+ month contract. You will oversee finishing works, coordinate trades, monitor progress and supervise subcontractors to deliver quality on time and safely.

The role requires a trades background and 3+ years in a foreman or site supervisor capacity, with strong organisational and communication skills to drive day-to-day on-site operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a Foreman, Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar role.
• Trade background, preferably within construction.
• Strong experience in internal finishing works.
• Experience managing and coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, Health & Safety and site procedures.
• Ability to manage workloads and achieve demanding programme, quality and safety targets.
• Previous experience taking responsibility for internal site operations would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate finishing trades and subcontractors on site.
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of internal site activities.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification.
• Coordinate and monitor internal finishing works through to completion.
• Monitor progress against the programme and identify any issues or delays.
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging through to completion.
• Coordinate with the wider site management team, subcontractors and relevant project teams.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements, quality standards and site procedures.
