Job summary

3D Personnel in Ireland is seeking a Finishing Foreman to lead day-to-day on a large-scale residential project in Sandyford. You will manage from 1st fix to handover, reporting to Contracts/ Site Manager and coordinating with site team and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, a carpentry background, and the ability to work to strict schedules while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years foreman experience on large scale residential projects
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work to strict construction schedules
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site safety

Responsibilities

• Implement daily and weekly programmes and share with subcontractors.
• Attend weekly construction management meetings.
• Maintain site diary with manpower levels of subcontractors.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and plant/equipment on site.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance.
• Motivate labourers and subcontractors.

Job description

Finishing Foreman opportunity for one of Ireland's leading Developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project from 1st fix to handover while reporting to the Contracts Manager and or Site Manager and working closely with the Site Team Members and Sub-contractors.

Role:

• Implementation of daily and weekly programmes together with the issue of programme detail to sub-contractors.
• Attending weekly management team meeting for the Construction team.
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities.
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site.
• Co-ordinating and managing subcontractors.
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards.
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site.
• Ability to motivate labourers and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

• 5 years General Foreman / Finishing Foreman experience on large scale residential projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work to strict schedules
• Preferably come from a time served carpentry background
