Job summary

Spot Recruitment seeks an Associate in Financial Services Regulatory in Dublin. The role focuses on advising Irish and international clients on Irish and EU regulatory frameworks including MiFID, MAR, DORA, ESG, AML and conduct of business.

You will handle central bank authorisation projects, licensing, and compliance advice for fintechs, payment institutions and VASPs, with opportunities for advisory and contentious work on a small specialist team.

Qualifications

• Ireland-qualified solicitor with 2–5 years PQE in financial services regulatory work.
• Experience in Irish/EU financial services regulation (MiFID, MAR, DORA, ESG, AML, conduct of business) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise Irish and international financial services clients on Irish and EU regulatory frameworks (MiFID, MAR, DORA, ESG, AML, conduct of business).
• Lead Central Bank authorisation and licensing projects and provide perimeter and compliance advice for fintechs, payment institutions and VASPs.
• Assist with advisory and contentious regulatory work, including supervisory engagement, inquiries and enforcement.
