Job summary

Hunter Savage is seeking a Financial Services Regulatory Solicitor to join its Dublin practice. You will advise financial institutions, asset managers, fintechs and other market participants on complex Irish and European regulatory matters, gaining early responsibility and international exposure.

Based in Dublin, this hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in the office each week, with collaboration across the Dublin team and wider network.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' post-qualification experience in a leading Irish or international firm or financial institution.
• Experience advising on financial services regulation within Irish/European frameworks.
• Strong drafting, analytical and regulatory problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise financial institutions, investment firms, asset managers and fintech on Irish and European regulatory requirements.
• Support authorisation, licensing, regulatory change, governance and compliance projects.

Our client is seeking an ambitious Financial Services Regulatory Solicitor to join its growing Dublin practice. The successful candidate will advise leading financial institutions, asset managers, fintech businesses and other market participants on complex Irish and European regulatory matters, gaining early responsibility and valuable international exposure.

Based in Dublin, this hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in the office each week, subject to role and client needs. This provides flexibility while supporting regular in person collaboration with colleagues in Dublin and across the wider international network.

The Role:

• Advise financial institutions, investment firms, asset managers and fintech businesses on Irish and European regulatory requirements.
• Support authorisation, licensing, regulatory change, governance and compliance projects.
• Advise on MiFID, MAR, DORA, ESG regulation, anti money laundering and conduct of business obligations.
• Assist with regulatory investigations, supervisory engagement, enforcement matters and transactional support.
• Contribute to client relationship development, thought leadership and business development initiatives.

The Person:

• Approximately 2 to 5 years' post qualification experience in a leading Irish or international law firm, financial institution, regulatory body or equivalent environment.
• Experience advising on financial services regulation, ideally within Irish and European frameworks.
• Strong technical legal, drafting, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Commercial judgement, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Genuine interest in financial services regulation and emerging market developments.
