Job summary

Hunter-Savage- in Dublin seeks a Financial Services Regulatory Solicitor to advise leading banks, asset managers and fintechs on Irish and European regulatory matters, gaining exposure to high-profile regulatory work within an expanding international practice.

The role is hybrid with a three-day-per-week in-office requirement, offering strong drafting, analytical and advisory responsibilities across regulatory, governance and enforcement matters.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 to 5 years’ post qualification experience in a leading Irish or international law firm.
• Experience advising on financial services regulation, ideally within Irish and European frameworks.
• Strong technical legal, drafting, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Commercial judgement, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Genuine interest in financial services regulation and emerging market developments.

Responsibilities

• Advise financial institutions, investment firms, asset managers and fintech businesses on Irish and European regulatory requirements.
• Support authorisation, licensing, regulatory change, governance and compliance projects.
• Advise on MiFID, MAR, DORA, ESG regulation, anti money laundering and conduct of business obligations.
• Assist with regulatory investigations, supervisory engagement, enforcement matters and transactional support.
• Contribute to client relationship development, thought leadership and business development initiatives.
